Perry sophomore Molly Lutmer scored a season high 25 points as the Jayettes snapped a nine game losing skid Thursday night defeating Ogden 46-35.  Lutmer hit four 3-pointers on the night as Perry enjoyed their best shooting night of the season connecting on close to 40% from the floor.  With the game tied at 19, Perry was able to pull away in the second half due to some timely shooting and tenacious defense by Grace Stewart.  Stewart created back to back turnovers that resulted in four Perry points with her one on one man to man full court defense midway through the third quarter.  Alyssa Kruger drilled a pair of three pointers late in the third quarter as Perry opened up a double digit lead.

“This was really a team win,” smiled head coach Chris Morrow.  “Everybody did their role.  Gabbie took another charge for us inside and Grace was great on the glass.  It was good to see Molly and Alyssa shoot like they did.  This is exactly what we needed going into the Christmas break.”

Stewart and Kruger each finished with nine points while Stewart grabbed 10 rebounds.

Perry closes out December 2-9 and will return to the hardwood in January.
