The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will meet in a special budgeting session today. Sheriff Marty Arganbright will begin the meeting with a discussion on the salary for the new part-time civil clerk.
Then County Engineer Josh Sebern will address the Board on several topics. Chiefly among them will be a presentation on 2017 projects funded by Tax Increment Financing (TIF). Sebern will inform the Board on how the funding was used to complete projects, and for any projects still in progress. Other topics include: the annual weed commissioner’s report, the blading of 340th Street in Stuart, design and office management, and a general department update.
The Board will also consider the following items for approval: a letter for a 700 MegaHertz public safety spectrum application, Region XII Council of Governments’ budget requests for fiscal year 2019, and various county property projects. The Board will also revisit a subscription license and services agreement for an Eagle image recorder system. This item was tabled from Tuesday’s regular meeting as the Board wanted more time to review the contract and consider the $10,000 penalty to leave their current provider, Imagetek Papervision Enterprise.
The meeting begins at 9am in the Supervisors Room in the Guthrie County Courthouse.
