Stuart’s Cub Scouts Pack 167 met Monday evening for the final time this year. The meeting began with the presentation of colors, the pledge of allegiance, and a special presentation to the Stuart American Legion. Two Webelo Scouts presented a check for $100 to legion member Ron Gruber. The proceeds were from last month’s chili feed.

As a whole, the pack has increased in the past year. The scouts earned advancements for learning about Stuart history, proper knife handling, and fitness activities. The pack will be organizing fundraising events next year to help fund costs for summer camps. The pack is also hosting their Pinewood Derby next month at Stuart Elementary.
