Redfield’s annual tradition will continue this Saturday with the Winterfest celebration. There will be plenty of activities for the whole family throughout the day.

The festivities begin at West Central Valley Middle School. There will be plenty of craft vendors, a cookie walk, and food available for purchase from 9am-3pm. Kids will have an opportunity from 1-1:30 pm to meet Santa and receive a goodie bag, while everyone is invited for Bingo in the school commons from 1-3. The event then shifts to the American Legion Hall and City Park. Entries into this year’s chili competition can be dropped off at the American Legion Hall starting at 3:30, with judging to begin at 4. At 5pm, the tree and holiday display will be lit at the park, followed immediately by the chili feed in the hall. The feed lasts until 7 pm for a free-will donation.

Participants will also have an opportunity to donate items for “snack packs” and personal hygiene items for children around the community. There will be two donation boxes at the front entrance of the middle school gymnasium before entering the event. A list of suggested donations can be accessed below:
