The Greene County School Board is starting up their public question and answer meetings next week.
The Board will have their first Q&A session on Monday, November 27th at 7pm at the Scranton Community Center. The Board decided to host the Q&A sessions at each of the communities in the district to give residents a chance to attend the meetings and have their comments and questions heard. The sessions will also be held every other month instead of monthly like last school year.
The Board Q&A meetings are a time for community members to address the Board on any concerns in school district matters. It is not a time to criticize district employees or staff. Board members expected to be at Monday’s meeting include: Board President Dr. Mark Peters, Vice-President John McConnell and board member Katherine Wilson.
The meetings are expected to last one hour and any topic discussed may become an agenda item at a regular board meeting.
