The Perry Rotary Club will be honoring an outstanding individual with their 2017 Civil Servant of the Year Award, and they’re looking for submissions from the public.

Eligible individuals include those who work or volunteer in law enforcement, the fire department, the ambulance squad, health care, human services, and other emergency services. All eligible nominees will be considered by the Rotary Club’s Selection Committee, who will make the final decision and notify the winner. After the winner is selected, the club will inform the public of the date, time, and location of the award presentation.

The public is encouraged to nominate individuals they feel are worthy of the award by completing a form and dropping it off at the circulation desk at the Perry Public Library. Forms are available at the library and the McCreary Recreation Building. All nomination forms are due by 4 p.m. on Thursday, November 30th. For more information, talk to Dr. Randy McCaulley or any other Rotary member.
