Last weekend was one to celebrate for Panorama High School arts and dance. While Into the Woods Jr. was being performed, the Panorama Dance Team took home honors at the 2018 Iowa State Dance & Drill Team Association (ISDTA) State Solo Competition in Newton.

Sophomore Chloe Webster won the Class II title, while fellow sophomore Payton Douglass finished in third. Jordan Douglass and Morgan Twigg finished fourth and fifth respectively to round out the high marks for the Panthers. In addition to those listed, Cameron Laughery and Mikeely Denger also received “One” ratings. This is the fourth straight year a Panorama dancer has won the competition. Kate Wingert won the title the past three years. The Team Championships are scheduled for November 30th and December 1st at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.
