Girls in grades kindergarten through eighth are encouraged to attend this week’s Meet the Rams Girls Basketball Team event.

The annual event will introduce young girls to the Greene County High School girls basketball team. The basketball players will organize games and activities to promote the sport, while also being role models for participants. Head coach Dean Lyons will also help lead the program.

It will take place at the Greene County Community Center Thursday from 6 to 7:30pm. Participants can also bring a white t-shirt for all of the high school players to sign. There’s no cost to participate, but waivers must be signed prior to Thursday night’s event. Call or stop by the community center to sign up.
