The Perry High School Drama Department’s production of “Dracula” opened last night, but there’s still one last opportunity to see the classic gothic horror.
The final showing will be tonight at 7 p.m. in the Perry Performing Arts Center. The play was adapted by playwright Stephen Hotchner, based on the famous Bram Stoker novel. For director Randy Peterson it was a project he’s always wanted to work on, and he’s very pleased with the results. He encourages the public to attend and see the hard work put in by the actors and actresses, as well as the impressive sets, lights, and special effects.
Tickets for the show can be purchased at the door and cost $5 for adults and $3 for students. All proceeds will go toward paying for this show and any past or future shows.
