petsPet owners have a couple of opportunities to take advantage of this weekend in Greene County.

Animal Protection and Education Agency (APE) is holding a reduced vaccine clinic this Saturday at Grand Junction City Hall. For $25, Greene County residents can get their pets a well pet exam, distemper and rabies vaccinations, as well as installing a microchip identification of the pet from 8am to noon. Appointments are encouraged by emailing goape.info or calling 515-460-7729.

People for Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) of Greene County is sponsoring a microchipping clinic at Kelso Park also on Saturday from 10am to 1pm.
