Dallas Board of Supervisors

The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.

The meeting will begin with discussion and possible action regarding future court space needs. The Board will then consider a resolution fixing a date for authorization of a loan agreement and issuance not to exceed $6 million for use in paying for construction of the new law enforcement center. At 10 a.m. they have a public hearing scheduled to go over the first reading of an amendment to the urban renewal plan.

Following the public hearing, the Supervisors will set a time and date for another public hearing relating to a budget amendment for the 2018 fiscal year. Additionally, they will consider resolutions approving operating transfers. Next, the Board will hold further discussion about the courthouse landscape bid and roof contract proposals. Finally, they will consider a contract proposal for historical election records scanning. The meeting will conclude with departmental workshops for the Sheriff’s Office and Information Technology.

The meeting is open to the public and will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in Adel.
