We have new information regarding the two vehicle collision in Perry.

According to the Perry Police Department, just before noon Saturday, police officers, Perry Fire Department, Perry First Responders and Dallas County Ambulance responded to the crash on Highway 141 and 8th Street in Perry. A 1998 Chevrolet C-1500 pickup truck, that was driven by Ronda Diaz of Bayard, was traveling west on Highway 141. A 2005 Chrysler Sebring that was driven by Jocelyn Kirchner of Perry was heading north on 8th Street, when she pulled out in front of the truck and both vehicles collided.

Two additional occupants were inside each vehicle and everyone suffered suffered minor injuries and were transported to Dallas County Hospital. Officers tell Raccoon Valley Radio that all occupants were wearing their seat belts at the time of the incident and both vehicles were totaled. Kirchner has been issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way.
