This week was West Central Valley’s homecoming and the theme was, “WCV is Out of This World”. Unfortunately for the Wildcats, it felt as though they were on another planet as the South Hamilton Hawks flew past the Wildcats with a 52-6 victory.

The Hawks improve to 7-1 and will clinch a playoff spot with a win next week against Eagle Grove.  They improved on last year’s win in Jewell 48-18. The Wildcats fall to 2-6 on the season and will travel to Panorama for a cross-county showdown with the Panthers. Tune in to Monday’s sports page for a full recap of the game.
