The Panorama Panthers football team dropped another district game Friday. The Panthers traveled to Dallas County for a showdown versus the No. 3 Van Meter Bulldogs (7-0). The Panthers were able to end Van Meter’s scoreless streak at 17 quarters, but it wasn’t enough in a 55-14 setback.

Van Meter jumped out to a 28-0 advantage before Panorama’s Luke South scored on a 61-yard fumble return in the second quarter. South also connected with Spencer Hunt for a 28-yard touchdown pass in the fourth. The Panthers offense was held to 139 yards total. The setback is the fourth straight in district play for Panorama, dropping their record to 3-5 overall. The Panthers close the season in Panora next Friday versus the West Central Valley Wildcats.
