The monthly Perry Chamber of Commerce Coffee event was held Friday morning at the offices of the Perry Chief.
The office was filled with business owners and community members alike, as they networked and learned more about everything going on in Perry. The building itself was a reclamation project undertaken by Perry’s “Nudgers” group. According to Nudgers member Matt McDevitt, the facility was arguably the worst building in the entire downtown area as recently as five years ago. Now it’s a modern office space with a classic feel to it that the Chief finds very appealing. McDevitt also mentioned the adjacent office space is currently available for rent, as well as at least one of the refurbished apartments on the second floor of the facility.
Attendees at the Chamber Coffee were treated to a pancake and sausage breakfast and door prizes from the Chief staff. Chamber Coffees are held the second Friday of every month and are free and open to anyone in the public. The November event will be held at Haaland Financial.
