The Dallas County Recorder’s office recently completed a multi-year project and they would like to show it off.
County Recorder Chad Airhart invites the community to an open house to be held on Tuesday, October 17th from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Attendees will get to learn about their new software and systems, as well as how they can access real estate records online dating back to 1850. Airhart says the process of digitizing 150-plus years of records took several years to complete, and he’s proud to unveil it to the public.
The new system will provide easy access to Dallas County’s records, while also providing a disaster recovery element and saving physical space in the recorder’s office. Anyone interested in attending the open house is asked to RSVP with the recorder’s office ahead of October 17th. To RSVP, contact Airhart by phone at 515-993-5804, or by email at Chad.Airhart@DallasCountyIowa.gov.
