A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 2400 block of 175th Street.

A deputy investigated a single vehicle accident on the overpass on 220th Street near Grand Junction. Terry Gaul 42 of Cedar Rapids was driving a 2016 Freightliner semi and went through the construction barriers to the overpass construction on 220th Street. Terry stopped the truck short of the bridge. There was minor damage to the truck. Terry suffered from a medical condition and was transported to the Greene County Medical Center.

The Chief Deputy investigated a semi vs car accident on 220th Street and Eaton Avenue. Roger Beckman 65 of Carroll was driving a 2004 International semi went to pass Victoria Johnson 17 of Scranton in her 2003 Buick Rendezvous. A car was coming towards the semi so he tried to get back in his lane and struck the drivers mirror on the Buick causing about 50 dollars’ worth of damage. Nobody was injured or cited.

The Sheriff assisted Greene County EMS and Grand Junction Rescue with a medical call in the 700 block of V Avenue.

Craig Johnson 40 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for harassment 3rd degree.

A deputy investigated a verbal domestic in the 1900 block of Locust Street, Scranton.

A deputy investigated a car deer accident on E Avenue near 260th Street. Thomas Duff 58 of Carroll struck a deer with his 2010 Nissan Altima. The deer caused severe damage to the vehicle. The estimated damage was around $8,000 dollars.

A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 800 block of Percival Street, Grand Junction.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
