ACGC and Woodward-Granger will meet in a pivotal match in West Central Conference play in Guthrie Center on Tuesday. The Lady Chargers come in at 14-6 (3-2) and the Lady Hawks enter the match at 13-10 (3-1).
The match features seven of the top ten ace leaders in the conference. Woodward-Granger senior Alyssa Bice leads the conference with 38 aces. Lady Charger sophomore Olivia Laabs is second with 32. The Lady Hawks hold a commanding lead in team aces with 206 while ACGC is second with 145.
The Lady Chargers are coming off a straight-set win against the Ogden Bulldogs last Thursday. Mackenzie Davis recorded six aces in that 25-14, 25-18, 25-20 win. In the last ten games ACGC has only lost twice. Both losses came to conference opponents in three sets.
