Veronica Madden from Davenport reported that someone stole wedding cards with money in them from a box where she had gotten married at on 260th St., Dallas Center.

Jacqueline Dee Dhabolt, age 53 of 726 N 7th St., Chariton was cited and released at 1st Ave., Center St., Perry for driving while license suspended.

Rita Compton of Jefferson was traveling east in the 25000 block of Highway 141 when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $8000.00.

Wayne Gillett of Omaha was traveling east on Highway 44, attempting to turn north onto J Ave., when he hit gravel and lost control. Driver and passenger were transported to Mercy Hospital Downtown by Dallas County EMS. Damage to the motorcycle estimated at $1600.00.

Meghan Morrisey of Granger was traveling north in the 24000 block of V Ave., when she went into the ditch rolling and then coming to rest in the ditch. Morrisey was taken to Mercy Main by the Dallas County EMS. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $1000.00.

Jerrad Michael Runge, age 38 of 509 NW 5th St., Ankeny was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for arraignment-original charge of driving while barred.

David Gale Cavin, age 42 of 1020 West St., Des Moines was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for show cause hearing-original charge of child endangerment.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
