All 911 communication services have been restored in Greene County.

The outage was reported by Greene County Sheriff Jack Williams around 10:30am Wednesday. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio all 911 communications are back up and running at the law enforcement center. Williams adds they haven’t determined the cause for the outage.

This is the second time in two weeks that 911 services have been down at the law enforcement center. The previous outage was on September 12th, and the cause was from a severed fiber optic cable in the City of Boone.
