Monday marked the home meet for the Adel-Desoto-Minburn (ADM) Tigers boys and girls cross country teams. Yesterday we went through the individual results for the ADM girl’s team, and we continue our recap today with the boys’ performances. The Tiger boys cross country team had three runners place in the top 10, helping ADM place third in the team standings with 58 points.
Freshman Nate Mueller completed his first home meet in fourth place, recording a time of 17:47. Mueller was one second behind Woodward Academy’s Rashawn Marshall for third place. Senior Ryan Hefferman placed fifth in his final home meet with a time of 18:01. Freshman Ethan Jurgens finished in sixth place, 13 seconds behind Hefferman. Other top finishers for ADM included sophomore Braeden Hegarty 19th (19:20), junior Gustavs Klavis 24th (19:31), and junior Owen Meier 29th (19:39).
The Tigers boys and girls cross country teams won’t return to competition until Thursday, September 28, competing at the Leon Fox Invitational at the Perry Golf and Country Club.
