The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.
First on the agenda is discussion and possible action regarding the new law enforcement center. In particular, the Board will consider a wetland delineation consultant proposal, and a conditional use permit application. In the same vein, the Supervisors will discuss the Ortonville lagoon and urban renewal plan. They will continue discussion on a parcel removal from their business park urban renewal plan, as well as a recommendation for the future connections and connection policy for the lagoon. They will also discuss their options for the sanitary sewer systems for the law enforcement center.
Other items on the agenda include: public hearings regarding bike trail easements for CenturyLink and Interstate Power and Light; discussion on community services space needs; a National Voter Registration Day proclamation; and Board appointments for a Colfax Township trustee and amended official depositories. Finally, they will hear from another company regarding the law enforcement center bond issuance options, this time with Piper Jaffrey.
The meeting is open to the public and will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in downton Adel.
