A big second half from junior running back Brody Rickheim save the Panorama Panthers (3-1 overall; 1-1 Class 1A District 6) from losing their homecoming game Friday night. Three rushing touchdowns from Rickheim helped Panorama outlast the Ogden Bulldogs (1-3 overall; 0-2 Class 1A District 6) 40-24 in district action.
The Panthers trailed 16-12 entering halftime. Brockheim opened the second half scoring on a 45-yard touchdown run, giving Panorama the lead 19-16. He’d add a pair of one-yard touchdown runs, one in each quarter, to help Panorama pull away. Brockheim ended the game with 111 yards on 14 carries. The win improves Panorama’s record to 3-1 overall and 1-1 in Class 1A District 6 play. The Panthers hit the road to Jewell this week for a district showdown against South Hamilton (3-1 overall; 2-0 Class 1A District 6).
