Tuesday’s school board elections in Greene County are now official.
The Greene County Board of Supervisors canvassed the votes at a special meeting on Friday. There was no change to any of the outcomes from Tuesday’s elections.
According to the Greene County Auditor’s office, newcomers Steve Karber and Catherine Wilson, along with incumbent Mike Dennhardt were elected to serve four-year terms on the Greene County School Board.
As for Paton-Churdan School Board, Mitch Stream and Dennis Tilley each ran unopposed for two of the three available seats and each were elected to serve on the school board. The third seat was filled by a write-in candidate, which was Sarah Obinna. Eric Happe was elected to fill a vacancy on the school board. P-C voters also passed the special measure to continue the voter-approved physical plant and equipment levy for another ten years with over 83-percent of people voting in favor of the measure.
