The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will be convening tomorrow afternoon in a special session, with only one item on the agenda.
The purpose of the meeting is to canvass the school board election results for the County. Preliminary results were released Tuesday evening, though they are not official until they are canvassed by the auditor’s office and the Supervisors. They are expected to go over the results from each district in Dallas County, including West Central Valley but excluding Dallas Center-Grimes, due to control county priority. The Board will eventually canvass DCG results, but only after Polk County does so.
The special meeting is open to the public, and will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in downtown Adel.
