The third race of the season took the ADM boys and girls cross country teams to Huxley Monday night. The Tigers participated in the annual Ballard Cross Country Classic at the Ballard Golf and Country Club. ADM was one of 23 teams competing in the two class meet, and both Tiger squads placed in the middle of the Class A field.

The ADM boys’ cross country team scored a fourth-place finish with 117 points. Freshman Nate Mueller was the first Tiger to cross the finish line, placing sixth overall with a time of 17:24. The ADM girls’ cross country team posted a sixth place team finish with 176 points. Sadie Jurgens was the race’s runner up for a second straight meet, finishing with a time of 20:22.
