ADM

Positive strides were made last week in the district opener for the ADM Tigers football team (1-2 overall; 0-1 Class 3A District 7) at Winterset. The Tigers produced 157 yards of total offense, including 141 through the air in a 34-13 week three loss to the Huskies (2-1 overall; 1-0 Class 3A District 7). With the district opener in the rear view mirror, ADM has their sights set on this year’s homecoming game this week versus the Carroll Tigers (1-2 overall; 0-1 Class 3A District 7).ADM head football coach Mike Whisner know this week has extra activities for his players to be a part of but wants his team’s full attention when they’re on the practice field.

“When we have them at practice, we want them to be focused, and obviously they are going to go out with their classmates and be involved in some of other homecoming activities that are sanctioned by the school.” Whisner said, “Hopefully not running around the community doing things you aren’t supposed to do.”

The ADM football team will look for their first true win of the season this Friday in their homecoming game versus Carroll. Catch all the action on the Lincoln Savings Bank Pregame Show starting at 6:30 p.m. and kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. on True Country K 107.9 and raccoonvalleyradio.com.
