The West Central Valley volleyball team has limped out of the gate to say the least. Not only are the Wildcats looking for their first match win, their looking for their first set win. The road to that elusive victory doesn’t get any easier as they head to Guthrie Center tonight to take on the 5-1 ACGC Lady Chargers.

The young squad is only averaging two aces and just short of four kills per game. Head coach John Jones has seen the hard work in practice, but unfortunately that hasn’t translated into the match play. The Wildcats will face an ACGC squad who hasn’t lost a set since their second game of the season. Jones is looking to use his five years as ACGC head coach to help the Wildcats learn something about themselves and play well.

The match is at 7pm in Guthrie Center.
