Perry’s Stewart Earns Top 20 Finish at Gilbert Invite

Perry senior Grace Stewart started the cross country season on a strong note Thursday night placing 17th in a very tough field at the Gilbert Invitational held at Iowa State. Stewart finished in a time of 23:18. Perry placed 11th out of 11 teams. Hannah Peterson was 47th in a time of 26:34 while Angela Hernandez was right behind her in 69th in a time of 29:49. Sophie Prombo, dArian Mccord and Taylor Eppert rounded out the Jayette lineup. Complete results are posted below.
