With the beginning of week number two of official fall practices, there are various items to check off the to-do list.

For ADM head volleyball coach Mary Beth Scott her to do list starts continuing to piece together the starting roster for the upcoming 2017 campaign.

“I’m trying to figure out who goes where, that’ll start to happen here because I try to be objective when everybody comes in. There have been years where I’ve had a player come in that I wasn’t expecting to all of a sudden put it together and so I like to be open minded but we will certainly start to try to put together who is that core group at the varsity level,” state coach Scott.

Coach Scott went on to explain an underlying effect that she would like to see happen as a result of all the pieces coming together.

“(I’m) trying to get them to really unify because I have found the teams that are most successful are the ones who are friends on and off the court, and that enjoy coming to practice, and so it’s just trying to balance that as we get closer to game time,” explained coach Scott.
