Seniors Megan Durbin and Samantha Hardaway are the only two returning letter winners for head coach Donna Carhill’s Greene County varsity volleyball team. The Rams were 11-25 last season, but Durbin was a first team all-conference player as an outside hitter.

The two were asked if it felt different being seniors, to which Durbin responded, “I don’t feel like a senior, but now that I am a senior I feel like I have to step up and take on more of a leadership role.” Hardaway said, “It doesn’t really feel different yet, but I’m sure once school kicks in and things get rolling it will definitely be different.”

Classes begin on Aug. 23 in the Greene County School District. The Rams don’t play a match that counts in the standings until Saturday, Sept. 2.
