The West Central Valley Wildcat football team has their marching orders for their 2017-18 schedule.
Unlike last season coach Addy and his Wildcat team will start their season on the road as two of their five road games this season will start within the first two weeks. The season opener for the Wildcats will send West Central Valley to fellow Guthrie County rival ACGC. Last year a late interception helped to seal their first of two wins. The Wildcats will then hit the road in week two taking on another non district foe in Saydel in week two.
West Central Valley’s district opener will have an extra special ring to it this year as it will also be their home opener facing off against Eagle Grove in week three on September 9th. The season will then progress into another home game on September 15th against Madrid and the third road trip for the Wildcats on September 22nd in week 5.
West Central Valley will then look to recreate one of their wins from last year taking on the Bulldogs of Ogden as they round out the month of September on the 29th. From there the Wildcats enter into October against the reigning district champion Van Meter on October 6th in Stuart which is followed by another home match up in week 8 against South Hamilton
Finally, the Wildcats will look to wrap up the season with a win against a Panorama team West Central Valley hasn’t defeated in over 7 match ups against their Panther counterparts. The season finale will be on the road in Panora on October 20th.
