This past Saturday, the Iowa high school football world had it’s sights set on the annual Shrine Bowl Classic in Cedar Falls.
Now former Panorama Panther football star Jeramy Randol was a part of the South team who was trying to bring an end to the 27 year tradition of back to back wins by either team. The North team was the 2016 champion and unfortunately for Randol and the South would muster just 230 yards of offense and would be defeated this past Saturday by a 30-13 final.
After a 5 year Shrine Bowl winning spree by the South squad, this year’s win by the North squad marked the second time in two years the North has taken the victory.
