Today is the big day for select high school football players such as Panorama’s Jeramy Randol as they take on the annual Iowa High School Shrine Bowl Football Classic in Cedar Falls.

After Randol helped the Panorama football team put at least two players on the INA-All State football team for the 10th straight season, he will now recap it all in the Shrine Bowl classic which kicks off at 4:00 pm this afternoon.

Randol was part of a stellar offensive line allowing just 9.5 sacks with a freshmen quarterback at the helm. Randol’s defensive play was equally good if not better comprised of 33.5 tackles with 4 sacks, and three fumble recoveries, one of which was returned for a touchdown.

Randol joins a host of 89 other football athletes to participate in the 45th annual Shrine Bowl classic held today in Cedar Falls. Doors will open at 2:00 pm with kick off time set for 4:00 pm. Tickets will be available at the gate and will be $15 per person. All proceeds go to support the Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
