The summer concert series ends today at River Ruckus on the Guthrie County Fairgrounds.
Tonight’s show includes Granger Smith, Clare Dunn, Jeremy McComb and this year’s headliner is Toby Keith. Organizer Grant Sheeder describes his reaction when he was able to book Keith for tonight’s show.
“The offer process to book an act usually takes anywhere from a month to three months, and we got a confirmation in a week. So it was the coolest, most rewarding moment that we’ve had in our nine years. And then the man himself as patriotic as he is, is the perfect fit for the River Ruckus because there are so many red, white and blues, and the flags. Everyone’s definitely a patriotic fan here and it was a perfect. We’re very excited.”
The show begins at 7pm. Tickets can be found at guthriesriverruckus.com.
