The Panorama baseball team placed one individual on the first team all conference list with two honorable mentions for the All West Central Activities Conference 2017 team.
Panorama’s first team selection came down to freshmen Luke South earning the utility or wild card position. South had a standout freshmen campaign leading the team with a .462 batting average. South was a speedster on the base paths with a conference 8th best mark of 18 stolen bases on the year.
The two honorable mentions for Panorama included multi-sport standout Jeramy Randol and sophomore Jacob Iseminger. Randol collected a season batting average of .218 and acquired the teams’ lone home run on the season. This is most likely the last honor bestowed upon the senior as a part of high school athletics. He will have one more event coming up later in July with the Iowa Shrine Bowl football classic in Cedar Falls. As for Jacob Iseminger ended the baseball season batting .351 while knocking in 7 RBI’s.
