The Panorama baseball team was in non conference action last night as they hosted Coon Rapids-Bayard. Unfortunately for the Panthers their late game surge was not enough and they would fall by the final of 12-3.
Coon Rapids-Bayard started the game up 5-0 before the Panthers would strike for their first run in the third inning for the 5-1 score. The Crusaders would answer back in a hurry however platting one run in the 4th and despite Panorama posting up to runs in the fifth, so too would Coon Rapids-Bayard along with 4 runs in the sixth inning to eventually take the game 12-3.
Panorama did put up nine hits in the contest while being issued one walk and suffering just one strikeout.
The Panthers now fall to 3-14 overall and will look to turn it around when they match up against conference foe West Central Valley tomorrow in Stuart for double header action.
