A new Sheriff’s Office vehicle will be hitting the roads of Dallas County soon.

The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office had submitted a request for the new vehicle to the Supervisors, as one of their current cars needed to be replaced. The older vehicle was purchased in 2014 and already had over 104,000 miles on it. The new car will be a 2017 Dodge Charger. The Supervisors unanimously approved the purchase, which will be paid for out of the County’s vehicle fund.
