Starting today, the Perry Fareway and Dallas County Farm Bureau will be holding a special week-long event benefiting local food pantries, called “Cram the Cab.”

From now until Saturday, there will be a tractor parked in front of the Perry Fareway, and the goal is to fill its cab with food donations for those in need. Direct food donations aren’t the only way to give during the event, however. People can also make a monetary donation, or they can round-up their grocery bills to the nearest dollar. All proceeds will go directly to the Dallas County food pantries in their effort to feed the hungry.
