At their June meeting, the Perry School Board discussed the extension of their contracts with Hiland Dairy and Pan of Gold as food suppliers.

Hiland provides the school with milk, dairy, and juice products, and the Board was pleased to hear there was no price increase from last year to this year. Pan of Gold supplies the bread and bakery products to the school. Nutrition Services Director Gail McFarlin said they were happy with the products and prices both companies provided, and she recommended the board approve the contract extensions.

The Board unanimously approved the contracts, which will run from August 1, 2017 through July 31, 2018.
