Greene County Community CenterAre you looking for some summer fun activities for kids to do? Then Jefferson Parks and Recreation has you covered.

Any second through sixth grade boy is encouraged to participate in the new Ram Boys’ Basketball Camp from June 12th through 14th. Participants will get to work with the Greene County High School head boys’ basketball coach Chris Nelson as they work on fundamentals of basketball. The cost to participate is $20 and practice times start at 5:30pm at the Greene County Community Center.

There will also be beginning, intermediate and advanced tumbling classes taking place from June 12th through the 15th. The beginner class is for 3-6-year-olds from 10 to 10:30am. The intermediate class for ages six and older is from 10:30 to 11:15am and the advanced class for anyone nine and older is from 11:15am to noon. The beginner class costs $20 and the intermediate and advanced classes are $35 per person. All classes are at the Greene County Community Center.

A beginning strength class is for those individuals that are 12 and older to blend bodyweight and free weights to develop overall strength. It will take place at the Greene County Community Center from 8 to 9am from June 12th through July 26th on Mondays and Wednesdays.
