Perry had to rely on some late offense to defeat Bondurant Farrar 4-2 in Raccoon River Conference softball last night.  Trailing 1-0 entering the sixth inning, Perry plated 3 runs in the top of the 6th and followed with an insurance marker in the 7th.   Emma Olejniczak started the rally by reaching on a fielders choice.  Maddie West followed with a single while Adrianna Eastman provided a sac bunt.  TJ Sheehy delivered the big hit with a 2 out, 2 run double to right center.  Sheehy scored on a Johanna Diw single.  Perry scored in the 7th on an Eastman rbi double.

Olejniczak earned the win by tossing the complete game.  She allowed 2 earned runs on 5 hits with 1 walk and 12 strikeouts.  Diw and West each finished with 2 hits.

Perry played without starting catcher Brooke Huntington who is questionable for tonight with an injury.

The Jayettes improve to 8-3 on the year and 4-2 in RRC play.  Perry will host Ballard tonight in a 7:00 game at the PAC.  Shawn Kenney will have play by play on KDLS.
