Greene County Supervisors 5_15The Greene County Board of Supervisors met Monday in regular session.

The Board agreed to move forward with contributing $21,000 as a match to Region XII Council of Government’s application to continue to use the business revolving loan fund. The Board then approved the County Treasurer’s investment report of $6,642,366 for April, along with issuing 211 driver’s licenses last month. Additionally, the Board approved a resolution to add six temporary stop signs along V Avenue between 185th to 240th streets while the Highway 30 overpass bridge is being replaced and approved hiring Randy Fox as a part-time employee for the secondary roads department.

Finally, County Engineer Wade Weiss mentioned that the 43 bells will be installed on top of the Mahanay Memorial Carillon Tower in Jefferson on May 24th.
