The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will meet Tuesday morning in regular session.
Among the several items on the agenda are three different public hearings. The first is regarding a Raccoon River Valley Bike Trail easement with Tyson Foods of Perry. The second also has to do with Tyson, but deals with the sale of county-owned property. The final public hearing is regarding a contract with Cost Advisory Services. Residents of Dallas County are encouraged to attend the hearings to weigh-in on the resolutions.
Other topics on the agenda involve the new law enforcement center. The board will consider a contract with the Samuels Group to serve as the construction management for the project. They will also consider an amendment to their contract with the Design Alliance architecture firm. Finally, they will consider a resolution accepting the results of the recount for the Clive 5 precinct from the May 2nd special election.
The meeting will close with closed sessions regarding the purchase of particular real estate, as well as pending litigation. Apart from the closed session, the meeting is open to the public and will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in Adel.
