Here is a run down of the action for the Panorama Lady Panther golf team in the conference triangular last Friday.
The Lady Panthers hit the road and took on conference foes Van Meter and Earlham at the Lakeview Golf & Country Club in Winterset. It would be Van Meter to walk away with the team crown shooting 220 on the day as well as the top medalist with Molly Carey shooting a nine whole score of 39. Panorama would be right on Van Meter’s heels taking second place with a team score of 245 while Earlham would round out the field in third shooting 275.
Panorama’s own Maggie Smith would come away as the runner up medalist on the day after shooting one of her better nine hole rounds so far with a 55. Savana Mobley would come in second on the team notching a 61 through nine holes while Anna Duis and Alex Kurtz tied for third on the team with a pair of 65’s. The Panorama field was rounded out with Madi Fear shooting a 67 and Lauren McClatchey earning a 68 score through nine holes.
The Lady Panthers return home this afternoon conducting their annual Panorama Girls Invitational at the Lake Panorama National Golf Course. Head coach Melissa Hochstetler’s team will be welcoming in a nine team field comprised of conference foes ACGC, Des Moines Christian, Madrid, West Central Valley, and Woodward-Granger. The non conference teams include Ankeney Christian Academy, CAM, Centerville, and Glidden-Ralston. The meet will tee off this afternoon beginning at 3:00 pm.
