For many high school students, the month of May means testing, as in final exams to wrap up the school year. New Greene County head football coach Mitch Moore will be conducting tests in May as well. The coach explains to Raccoon Valley Radio. “We’re testing out the first week of May.  We’re going to test out vertical, our broad, our bench press, our pull-ups, some of those explosive movements. That’ll give me kind of a platform to build our summer program around. We’ll group our position players with those that are their equal talent or strength level. We’ve really had a good six weeks.”

The coach added there have been at least 50 prospective players Monday after school and early Tuesday and Thursday mornings. “They’re getting to learn how I coach, and I am learning how they take coaching. It’s been good, and we’re starting to develop leaders.”
