A Coon Rapids man faces several charges following a traffic stop in Greene County early Friday morning.
According to the Greene County Sheriff’s office, at 3:10am, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that didn’t have a properly displayed license plates at 335th Street and Apple Avenue.
Sheriff Jack Williams tells Raccoon Valley Radio that Bryan Snell allegedly gave the deputy a false name and while the deputy was checking out the suspect’s information, Snell got out of his vehicle and fled on foot. The deputy was able to catch and arrest him.
Snell is charged with a Class D Felony for his third offense for operating while under the influence and misdemeanors for driving while barred, possession of a controlled substance and two counts of interference with official acts.
He was booked into the Greene County jail.
