Four Greene County High School students qualified for the Iowa High School Speech Association All-State Festival later this month.
Jordan Davis, Morrgan Zmolek, Arthur Bardole and Courtney Johnson performed as KILN 105.3 and qualified in radio news. They received an overall division I-rating and were nominated by the judges at the state competition on Saturday to perform at the all-state festival.
Other results from the state contest from Greene County High School include a division I-rating for “The Sneetches” by Dr. Seuss in choral reading, “Keeping Up With the Godashinans” in short film and a division II-rating for “The Answer is D” in readers theater. Paton-Churdan sent one event, the short film “Guess Who” and received a division II-rating.
The all-state festival takes place at the Iowa State Center in Ames on February 18th.
