The Greene County Sheriff’s Office was advised by a Spencer Iowa, resident of a family member that had driven away from home in Schleswig Iowa, and may be heading to destinations in either Greene or Carroll Counties. The described vehicle was never located by deputies in either county.
A deputy was asked to speak to the owner of a dog in the 500 block of South 11th Street in Grand Junction regarding the dog’s perceived aggressive actions.
A deputy was unable to locate a vehicle traveling west bound and entering Greene County on Highway 30 that was reported to be traveling in excess of 100 mph.
A deputy and the Grand Junction Fire Department were dispatched to the intersection of Highways 144 & 30 for a semi-tractor trailer that had a small fire on the trailer brakes after a hot wheel bearing ignited the grease.
A deputy was advised of debris on Highway 30 west of the Jefferson. The material was removed from the road.
A deputy was dispatched to the Pleasant Hill Church in the 1700 block of Redwood Avenue to secure an open door.
A deputy spoke with a resident in the 300 block of Main Street East in Grand Junction regarding a civil issue.
The Chief Deputy Sheriff was dispatched to the Peoples Trust and Savings Bank in Rippey for an alarm activation. The deputy and a key holder found the bank to be secure.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
