A new group of students will be inducted into the FFA program at Panorama High School tomorrow.
Advisor Evan Babcock says they are having their jacket ceremony this Thursday.
“We don’t just hand the jackets out to the kids, we want to make sure that they understand that this jacket is not just a tread, it’s not just a garment, it’s a lifestyle and it’s something that they need to wear with pride and be able to understand the meaning of the jacket.”
Junior Destiny Watson describes when she received her jacket last year.
“Well I felt very proud to be able to experience the FFA experience. Just knowing that I was being accepted was very enlightening and very cool.”
The ceremony will take place during the regular monthly meeting in the morning at the high school.
